New Feature: Bradford Report (Analytics+ and HR only)

What’s new?

We're excited to announce the launch of the new Bradford Factor report, available right within Deputy Analytics+.

This report turns your team's raw leave data into actionable insights, helping you automate absence analysis to support your teams. Worry less about crunching numbers, and focus more on supporting your people to do their best work.

What is it?

The Bradford Report allows managers to quickly come to a retrospective view of employee’s Bradford scores. Here's what you can do with the new Bradford Report:

  • Smart consolidation: The report automatically groups consecutive leave days into single spells.
  • Colour-coded concern ratings: Get an instant, at-a-glance understanding of absence patterns with clear ratings (Serious, Medium, Initial, Low).
  • Interactive filters: Easily search for specific employees or drill down into the data by score and absence count.
  • Location-specific insights: Quickly spot which locations are most affected by problematic absenteeism.

How does it work?

As a system administrator you can access the Bradford Report from Analytics+

These are the steps to access it:

  1. Login to your Deputy account
  2. Click on the Analytics tab on the top ribbon
  1. Click on View all reports
  1. Scroll down to the HR folder in the Reports side navigation
  2. Select the Bradford Score report

Other things to keep in mind

As you get started, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Leave calculation: The report treats all approved leave types equally in its calculation.
  • Default date range: The Bradford Score is designed with retrospective reporting in mind. By default, the report is filtered to look at the last 12 months of approved leave requests in your organisation (rolling 12 months). Currently, a specific date range is not supported.

Rollout and availability

This report is now available as part of the Deputy Analytics+ subscription (or HR add-on).

Automated, Secure Data Upload and Sync via SFTP

A powerful upgrade that lets you automate data uploads directly via SFTP

  • Automate or bulk-upload data using Deputy CSV templates (employee, employee payroll, sales, training module, leave balance, location, area, and more) directly into your SFTP folder to have them automatically imported into your Deputy account.
  • Processed files automatically sorted into folders processing, sent_successful, and sent_failed folders, plus successful/error email notification and a magic-link interface for fixing errors
  • Add and manage up to 10 public keys per tenant for separate access for automation systems and multiple users

Why 🤔

  • Manually uploading large or recurring data into Deputy is time-consuming and error-prone
  • Managing multiple users or automation systems for data uploads can be complicated

So we deliver

  • Automate bulk and recurring data uploads directly via SFTP.
  • Allow multiple access keys and built-in error-handling tools to simplify user and system management

How to use it 🤓

Help documentation is available here.

How to get it 🧪

Currently in Beta so we can refine it based on your feedback.
